An online petition has been launched in a bid to stop the closure of community facilities and sports centres in North Lanarkshire.

“During the council meeting on September 28, there was mention of potential additional funding through the Strathclyde Pension Fund reduction. “A word on ‘tough choices’ they are truly only tough for the people who suffer as a result of them. The folk whose libraries and community centres are closing. The decision-makers can make different, better choices. If your mind is troubled, maybe change it?
