St Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday this year, so you might be wondering how that might affect your ability to stock up on festive supplies in the lead up to the big day.
But regardless of the day, you might want to make the most of it by buying in some nibbles and drinks for friends and family.So, here is all you need to know about the opening times for all of Ireland's major supermarket chains on this year's St Patrick's Day weekend. Lidl For the Monday to Saturday before the big day, Lidl's stores will be open between 8am-10pm. For Paddy's Day Sunday itself, doors will open at 9am and close at 9pm.Aldi All Aldi stores will be open as normal on Saturday 16 March, with stores open between 9am - 9pm on Sunday 17 and Monday 18 March. However, Sunday and Monday opening times will vary slightly at certain stores, so customers should ensure that they check the Aldi store locator before their trip.
