Labour Shadow Scotland Secretary Ian Murray the arrest was 'deeply concerning' while Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton said it would have 'huge ramifications both for the SNP and the future of Scottish politics.'

Sturgeon was arrested on Sunday by Police Scotland.
