SEPANG: An argument led to an assault in an eatery here after a group of men, suspected to be drunk, were told off by restaurant workers.

Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said the incident occurred on Thursday night at an eatery in Glomac Cyberjaya."The three suspects came to the restaurant to eat and while the first two were at the nasi kandar section, the third man, who was in an inebriated state, used his hand to pick his food," ACP Wan Kamarul Azran said in a statement on Friday .

"A worker then told the suspect to stop and that they would be served after the customer who was in front of them."One suspect used a pair of metal food tongs to hit one worker on the head and body," he added.ACP Wan Kamarul Azran said three suspects, two aged 51 and another 50, were arrested on Friday in the Sepang area.

He added that two of them had drug and criminal offences on their records, and that the suspects confessed to the attack.
