New laws introduced in Ireland will impose fines of €2,000 on outlets caught selling tobacco products or nicotine inhaling products at events aimed at children. This follows a government strategy to tighten regulations on nicotine-based products and eventually ban disposable vapes.

“The urgency is to save lives that are being lost because of a common commercial product that kills.”
