Outrage as young horse found dumped in skip bag on side of Dublin road
Campaigners have called for greater enforcement of horse ownership laws after a young mare was found dumped on the side of a road in a skip bag.
The grim discovery was made on Tuesday morning by a local who was walking their dogs on the Peamount Road in Newcastle, Dublin.Volunteers from My Lovely Horse Rescue, who attended the scene, called for greater enforcement of ownership laws. Co-founder Martina Kenny said: “The awful part is to see a beautiful animal like that thrown on the side of the road like rubbish.”
