On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, officers seized cocaine from a premises on Clyde Drive, Bellshill , estimated to be worth over £21,000. A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

A total of £14,100 worth of cannabis was recovered. Three men, aged 27, 29 and 51, were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
Officers searching a premises under warrant on Winston Crescent, Blantyre, on Thursday, May 30, seized cannabis worth nearly £18,000. Detective Inspector Scott Robertson, from Lanarkshire's Serious and Organised Crime department, said: “We have taken a significant quantity of drugs off our streets and arrested eight individuals for drugs offences. These arrests underline our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
