No one was injured in Wednesday's incident in Williamsport but a police unit and buildings containing student apartments were struck by bullets.

WILLIAMSPORT – A homeless man has been accused of firing several shots at a Pennsylvania College of Technology police officer who had responded just off-campus to assist Williamsport officers on a call for a disturbance with a gun.

When told to show his hands the man drew a firearm and fired several rounds at the officer who took cover behind his patrol unit. The disturbance call to which police initially responded involved a confrontation between Cleveland and a woman in which he is alleged to have pulled a gun, threatened to beat her and forced his way into her apartment.
