The incredible Sound of Belfast is running right up until November 19.
With 62 events across 25 venues throughout the city, Sound of Belfast is arguably the best validation of our Unesco City of Music status and it means there’s something for everyone to enjoy, learn from or contribute to – musicians, industry experts and fans alike.
And Arts Council of Northern Ireland Director of Arts Development Gilly Campbell added: “Sound of Belfast is another fantastic initiative curated by Oh Yeah, an arts organisation we are delighted to support with public funding. Have a look at soundofbelfast.com for what’s on tand check out the Sound of Belfast 2023 playlist on Spotify for a taster of what’s happening...He’s one of Britpop’s brightest stars and biggest voices but now Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones has changed direction.
They take their nods from the Fleetwood Mac and Eagles end of country – positively middle of the road then – but the songs and voices that sing them are strong enough to carry any genre. They play Belfast’s Ulster Hall on Monday night.
