Bobby Green has legally changed his name ahead of his UFC 304 fight with Paddy Pimblett.
The Liverpool MMA favourite is set to make his Octagon return against the seasoned lightweight contender at UFC 304 in Manchester on July 27.
Green flaunted his updated birth certificate on Instagram, captioning the video: "I know I worked so hard at Bobby Green but the point was to show u go from nothing to a King." "This mushroom has actually changed his name to King," Pimblett quipped. "So yous can officially call me the Kingslayer on July 28th."
Critics, including Joe Rogan and Nate Diaz, have suggested he was fortunate to clinch a decision victory against Jared Gordon in their December 2022 clash. Green is undeniably the most formidable opponent he's encountered in the UFC.
