Two men were seriously assaulted at a house in Lifford, Co Donegal this morning. One victim has been airlifted to a hospital in Belfast for treatment of serious injuries.
Two men have been injured in a serious assault at a house in Co Donegal. Emergency services were called to the scene near Coneyburrow Road in Lifford this morning.
The second man, aged in his 60s, was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital. His injuries are described as "less-serious". A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident which occurred in Lifford, Co. Donegal, this morning, Monday, 20th January 2025. "A scene is currently held for technical examination. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
