No casualties have been reported by emergency services, which deployed up to 10 crews to tackle to the blaze.

Residents living nearby to a fire which broke out at an electrical and battery recycling treatment facility in the Scottish town of Paisley overnight have been urged to remain indoors and to keep their windows and doors shut.

Area Commander David Murdoch said the service would "continue to work with the recycling centre and partner agencies to minimise the disruption to the local community".
