Palace aide quits after 'unacceptable' comments about race to charity founder 🔴 Ngozi Fulani, chief executive of Sistah_Space, said she was asked by the household member where she “really came from”

A Buckingham Palace aide has resigned and apologised for making “unacceptable and deeply regrettable comments” to a charity founder at a reception held by the Queen Consort.

Ms Fulani, chief executive of Sistah Space, said that the aide’s repeated questions about where she was from after she had explained she was a British national, were a “violation” that will “never leave me.” The Palace said in a statement: “In this instance, unacceptable and deeply regrettable comments have been made. We have reached out to Ngozi Fulani on this matter, and are inviting her to discuss all elements of her experience in person if she wishes.
