The annual Palomino Festival in Uvalde had the theme of Uvalde Strong this year, there are planned tributes for the 21 victims killed at Robb Elementary.
Despite the untimely rain, there was still plenty of excitement for Saturday’s events.
“Probably just like to watch the show and the rodeo or something,” Heaven said when talking about what she was excited for.Zammarh Martinez moved to Uvalde a year ago and she’s been to Palomino Fest before. Saturday morning, families of the 21 victims took part in the festival’s parade, showing the faces and names of the ones taken on May 24th.
