Ireland's Paralympic heroes returned to home soil this afternoon fresh from their six-medal haul at the Paris Games.
The 35-strong team that jetted out to Paris a few weeks ago did Ireland proud and took home six medals. Add that to the seven medals Ireland won at the Olympics, and it makes for excellent reading for fans of Irish sport. Orla Comerford took home bronze in the fastest women's T13 100m race ever, while Katie-George Dunlevy did the business in the cycling aided by her co-pilots Linda Kelly and Eve McCrystal.Republic of Ireland national football teamOnly for Caoimhin Kelleher, England would have won 5-0 or 6-0.
