The first cost of living payment landed in accounts last week as over a million social recipients availed of a €200 bonus.However, parents can also apply for another cost of living boost that will arrive later this year.The bonuses were all announced in February as part of a spring cost of living package.

The government confirmed: “An additional €100 payment will also be paid this year in respect of each child for whom the Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance is paid.
