The Minister for Social Protection, Heather Humphreys, announced measures totalling €410 million in a social welfare package aimed at supporting families, pensioners, carers and people with disabilities.

There will also be an additional €100 payment for each child for whom the Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance is to be paid this summer.
