Paris Hilton's ex-fiance Chris Zylka has now been charged with two felonies after turning himself into the authorities following his recent arrest. Zylka, 39, was arrested earlier this month after getting into a bloody brawl with police following an alleged attempted carjacking in Ohio. An arrest warrant was issued for Zylka after he somehow escaped custody, but on Monday Zylka surrendered, a clerk at the Warren Municipal Court shared with TMZ.
Zylka was hit with two felonies - assault for allegedly elbowing an officer, in addition to attempting to commit an offense with his alleged attempted carjacking. He was also charged with three misdemeanors - disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and aggravated menacing. Zylka's legal troubles began earlier this month. Police were called to Warren, near Cleveland, at 4:45pm on December 4 following a report of a man with no shirt or shoes on in the cold who was attempting to get into a vehicle with a possible gun, according to local station WKBN. When police arrived they found traffic at a standstill with model and actor Zylka pushing the front of the vehicle while 'foaming at the mouth' and appearing to be under the influence of drugs, per WKBN. Zylka had allegedly tried to get into a woman's car and had been trying to break the window, police said, with the Leftovers actor allegedly pointing a cellphone like he was brandishing a gun at two detectives who arrived at the scene. When he was ordered to get on his knees and officers attempted to handcuff him, he resisted, getting one wrist in the restraint before an altercation broke out
