It’s not every day your son gets nominated for an Oscar so when the moment actually came for Paul Mescal’s mother Dearbhla it’s safe to say she was feeling all sorts of emotions.
“I don’t watch them [Oscar nomination announcements] because I find them way too stressful,” the mother of three revealed.We have this Whatsapp group and there were shocked faces and crying eyes.”It’s clear Dearbhla was full of pride for her son, but getting to see her children’s three faces was just as much of a celebration for both her and her husband.
