Paul Pogba has played just six times in the Premier League season due to injury, having remained at Manchester United last summer amid interest from Real Madrid
Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, stated last month, during the January transfer window, that the World Cup winner’s only aim in January was to return to full fitness.However, he did little to dampen speculation over his client’s long-term future, having seen Pogba push for an Old Trafford exit last summer, amid interest from Real Madrid.
Pogba wanted a “new challenge” last summer, but a move to Real Madrid never materialised - despite Zinedine Zidane wanting to bring his compatriot on board. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claimed that Pogba was a key man to his United side this term, but has seen the Frenchman make just six Premier League appearances, as injuries have ravaged his 2019-20.
And it is claimed that there are teammates within the dressing room at Old Trafford who are in agreement that it is for the best if he moves on - for both player and club.
