Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight confirms he's finished writing season 6

Birmingham-set gangster drama Peaky Blinders will be making an explosive comeback to our screens with Cillian Murphy set to return as Tommy Shelby

Speaking to the BBC , Steven Knight reveals: "I've just finished writing series six and it's the best yet, but we always say that."

Director Anthony Byrne will also return to helm the new episodes, having directed season 5, making him the first director to tackle multiple seasons.
