Pensioner dies and elderly woman fights for life after car crash in Kilcummin, Co Kerry

A pensioner has tragically died and an elderly woman is in a critical condition after an early morning crash in Co Kerry.

The elderly man died in University Hospital Kerry after the two-vehicle collision at Finnegans Cross, Kilcummin.A second woman was hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries after the crash, which happened at around 6.45am.A spokesman said: "A Garda forensic team is currently at the scene.
