Researchers at dating site Badoo found that other profile picture no-nos included “ancient photos” and people sticking their tongue out. Fellas posing topless or beside cars also made potential suitors swipe left.She told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “He was very charming online and I asked him for a photo without sunnies, but he said he wanted to be ‘mysterious’.
“When I first met him he was wearing wrap-around shades like Bono – we were in a Wetherspoons pub for God’s sake.” A Badoo spokesman said: “Our study found 68% of singles find sunglasses off-putting on dating apps, so we are launching a new No Shades upgrade, which detects sunglasses photos.”
