Fans of Two Doors Down have taken to social media to praise the 'emotional' Christmas special 📺
The festive special of the hit comedy show, which is set in the fictional Scottish suburban street of Latimer Crescent, aired last night on BBC One, leaving viewers laughing and crying.
The episode saw Christine, Beth, Eric, Ann Marie, Colin, Michelle, Alan, Gordon and Iain gather in a coffee shop as they took a break from Christmas shopping, where Christine treated the gang after she discovered she had £70 worth of points on her loyalty card. However, it was an emotional time for the character, played by Elaine C. Smith, as her daughter Sophie and granddaughter Maddison were unable to make it home for Christmas.
And while the"brilliantly written" episode had viewers laughing, the end also had them reaching for the tissues as they shed a few tears, with fans taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the episode. One person wrote:"Did I just bawl my eyes out at #TwoDoorsDown today, yes I absolutely did.Another tweeted:"Fantastic Christmas special.
