Cllr Khan added: “I’ve been told that parents park in blind corners and it makes it difficult for residents, especially those living in Gammons Farm Close, to drive out of their road.“The bad parking makes it difficult for pedestrians to cross too.”Cllr Khan hit out at the"inconsiderate" parents who park illegally, but added he understands all parents just want to get their kids to school on time.
“I know this is often the nature of the school run, but I think parents need to set an example,” he said. Cllr Khan also suggested that parents should try and consider other forms of traveling to the school.“I know the busses aren’t the best at the moment, but they do go that way.The school has placed several signs on the road to stop people from parking, but some parents ignore them.
The borough councillor also stressed that school parking is a problem that is getting worse across the borough.
