Five fire engines were sent to Archerhill Square at 9.38pm last night to tackle a blaze at a block of flats.One person was taken to hospital by ambulance.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.38pm on Tuesday, January 17, to reports of a fire within a block of flats in the Knightswood area of Glasgow. "Operations control mobilised five appliances to Archerhill Square, where firefighters were met by a fire within a flat."One casualty was transported to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service."
