Alisson's 17th clean sheet of the season on Sunday for Liverpool at big rivals Everton had fans reaching for the record books. But the man with the golden gloves is in no mood to let anyone forget he is the one leading the way when it comes to shut outs in their first year in England.Alisson is seven short, as the man himself reminded everyone on twitter.The Brazilian has some big names to get past if he wants to take the title come May.
Dutchman Edwin van der Sar kept 21 clean sheets in 2008-09, going ahead of Peter Schmeichel in the charts after his great 1994-95 campaign.Alisson has already broken one Liverpool record this season. He went unbeaten in his first 16 Premier League matches, surpassing the previous record held by Javier Mascherano whose run was ended in December 2007.Reds manager Jurgen Klopp joked that he's "worth double" and thinks his keeper has been outstanding since arriving from Italy.
