“Agad tayong rumesponde at nagbigay-tulong sa mga naapektuhan ng flash floods at landslides dulot ng malakas na ulan ,” PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon said. The incident affected 6 barangays, 500 families, and 1500 individuals based on the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council’s preliminary report.An initial assessment was also conducted by PRC to determine the needs of the distressed residents.
“Hindi natin iiwan ang mga kababayan natin sa Banaue, Ifugao hanggang matiyak natin na sila ay ligtas at nakaahong muli sa insidenteng ito ,” Gordon added.
