Officers responded to a fatal motorcycle crash around 3:46 p.m. on Nov 2, near Seventh Street and Indian School Road.
Phoenix police identified a man who was killed in a crash in central Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to a call near Seventh Street and Indian School Road around 3:46 p.m. where a motorcycle and passenger car collided, Phoenix police spokesperson Sgt. Brian Bower said in a statement. The man driving the motorcycle, identified by police as 18-year-old Ruben Arizaga, was headed north on Seventh Street where witnesses said he was traveling at a"high rate of speed prior to the collision," according to the statement.
A woman driving the passenger car attempted to turn into a private drive when she collided with the motorcycle, Bower said. Arizaga was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene by the Phoenix Fire Department.An investigation was ongoing, police said.
