A total of 2,253 kilogrammes of suspected cocaine was seized from a cargo vessel off the south-east coast of Ireland
This is the suspected cocaine at the centre of what's been described as Ireland's biggest ever drugs seizure.

The Commissioner also said he believed the “murderous” south American cartel that sent the drugs to Ireland as well as the gangs involved in planning to sell it here and in Europe had suffered a massive blow with the seizure.
