Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan has shared his thoughts on whether or not he thinks Aaron Taylor-Johnson is ready to take on the role of the iconic 007 agent
It was reported last week that Angus Thongs And Perfect Snogging star Aaron, 33, had been formally offered the role of the iconic 007 agent taking over from Daniel Craig and his 15-year reign as Bond. Craig last appeared as the infamous spy in the 2021 blockbuster No Time To Die before hanging up his boots.
The long-awaited and hotly-anticipated next Bond movie had been delayed due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes. However, insiders told the publication that a script was now being worked on, with production scheduled to take place at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire 'as soon as possible'. Earlier this month, Aaron broke his silence on whether or not he would be willing to step into Bond’s shoes. The actor said he finds it flattering that fans of 007 would consider him to be the perfect fit to play the next Bond. He chimed: “I find it charming and wonderful that people see me in that role. I take it as a great compliment."
