The applicants reckon the proposals could help breathe new life into the area and boost tourism.
Plans have been announced to transform the former Bank of Scotland branch in Troon’s Templehill into a restaurant and bar.
The proposals have been submitted to South Ayrshire Council for review by Wood Walsh Holdings Ltd and the agents in the plans are Donna Kennedy Architecture and Design. “The vacant property has a prominent location within the Troon Conservation area and is a suitable location for the proposed use. The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories while you can customise your page with the sections that matter to you.“The introduction of the restaurant, coupled with tourist accommodation, will attract people right to the heart of Troon town centre, bringing life back to this currently vacant building.”
