Plans have been scrapped for fifth year students to sit their Leaving Cert English and Irish Paper one exams next year.
The Minister for Education, Norma Foley will tell Cabinet today that she's heard their concerns and won't go ahead with the change for 2024.Minister Foley also said current senior cycle students have already experienced significant disruption due to the pandemic.
