A section of the famous red tracks has been given an overhaul

A section of the famous red tracks for one of the most iconic rollercoasters in the country has been replaced. The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is undergoing essential winter maintenance, ahead of of the 2023 season.

Andy Hygate, operations manager at the Pleasure Beach, told LancsLive: "You wouldn't normally see just sections of track missing, so it's quite an unusual sight. But obviously, by the time we open in March, then it will all be good and ready to run.
