Major fashion brand praised for using women with stoma bags and mastectomies to model lingerie and bikinis
Fashion giant PrettyLittleThing has been praised after launching a stunning swimwear and lingerie collection that celebrates women with stoma bags and mastectomies. The "game changing" collaboration is PLT's first ever post-surgery swim collection that is designed to be both comfortable and empowering.
It features a range of flattering bikini sets in a variety of different feminine styles, cut out swimsuits with ruched detailing with wrap waist features, paired with dreamy overalls. PLT will be donating 100% of proceeds from this collection to the charity, with the price ranging from £10-£28. Shoppers will also find that straps have been made thicker and necklines, armholes, and waistbands higher, while all pieces have also been created in super soft fabrics that are easy and comfortable to wear. PLT's aim with the swim range is to provide maximum comfort without having to compromise on trend led style.
"The pieces also made them feel confident and sexy, something that has been previously lacking in breast cancer underwear offerings. I'm so proud!
