A new Pokémon Legends: Arceus game update has made it easier to catch Cherrim, the Grass-type Pokémon first introduced in Generation IV. The recently-released Pokémon Legends: Arceus has seen positive reviews from both critics and fans, with many praising the game's new direction, though some have been left frustrated by the gameplay.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the first mainline Pokémon game to fully switch up the tried-and-tested RPG formula. The game removes the typical Gyms and Elite Four who players usually must battle, instead focusing on world exploration and Pokémon-catching in the ancient Hisui region, which would later be known as Sinnoh.
With a heavy focus on Pokémon catching in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, having a bugged spawn rate was an issue for many players looking to ensure they have every 'Mon in their collection. Being set in an older version of the Sinnoh region, the game focuses on Generation IV pocket monsters, though new regional variants have been introduced, as well as a new category of Pokémon known as Nobles, which are particularly tough to bring down in battle.
As developer Game Freak continues to roll out general patches and fixes for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, fans are eagerly awaiting news on a mysterious Poké Ball datamined from the game. While it's believed the unexplained but throwable Poké Ball is related to Pokémon Home, the cloud service for storing pocket monsters across games, this has yet to be confirmed.
