Police remain on the scene of a property in Newton Mearns following concerns about explosive devices and equipment.Paramedics and fire crews were also sent to the scene as well as bomb disposal experts after concerns were raised about explosive devices and equipment at the address.Police sealed off the road leading to and from the property and evacuated nearby residents.
Investigations are continuing into Sunday with Police Scotland officers still on the scene with the assistance of EOD.A spokesperson said: “Around 6.15pm on Thursday, 2 February, 2023, police were called to a property in Pilmuir Holdings, Newton Mearns, following a report of a disturbance. A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
