Police believe the suspected attack took place in Preston
Lancashire Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was left critically injured following a suspected assault in Preston. The victim, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
He is believed to have been assaulted on the junction of Harris Street and Birley Street at approximately 2.45am following an altercation with two males.Police now need to speak to anybody who saw any of the three men described below in the city centre in the early hours of Friday morning. “Whilst the enquiries are progressing, we are keen to speak to anyone that witnessed the incident or saw any of the men described above. Whatever information they have – how matter how minor they think it is - may be key to the investigation.
