Another 20-year-old remains in hospital with serious injuries
Police are appealing for information after a 20-year-old man was killed, and another left seriously injuried, in a fatal collision in Skelmersdale.
A 20-year-old man from Parbold was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A second 20-year-old man, from Liverpool, was seriously injured and remains in hospital. Detectives are asking members of the public to come forward with any information that may prove useful to their investigation.In a statement, Lancashire Police said: "We are appealing for information following a collision in Skelmersdale, in which a young man sadly died and another was seriously injured.
"A 20-year-old man from Parbold was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers. Sergeant Martin Wilcock, of the Lancashire Roads Policing Team, said: “First and foremost our thoughts are with the loved ones of the man who died. They are being supported by trained officers and we are working extremely hard to establish what occurred to get them answers about what happened.
