An appeal has been launched to identify two men as part of an investigation into a serious offence in Preston. One of the men pictured is believed to have played pool with a woman who was later the victim of a crime.
Police have stressed the men pictured aren't believed to be involved in any wrongdoing. The suspect has already been identified and arrested. However, police are still trying to find out more information. They were playing pool in the Station Hotel, Butler Street, Preston, on Friday, August 18, between 8.30pm and 8.50pm.A spokesperson for the force said: "We are asking for your help to identify two men who could help our investigation into a serious offence in Preston.
"It must be stressed that both are potential witnesses and weren’t involved in any wrongdoing, with a suspect having already been identified and arrested. "They were playing pool in the Station Hotel, Butler Street, Preston, on Friday, August 18, between 8.30pm and 8.50pm."If you were one of the two men, please come forward to speak to our officers. If you recognise them from the CCTV stills, again please contact us."
