A section of Botanic Gardens has been cordoned off by police
Police say they are currently at the scene of of a serious assault within the vicinity of Botanic Gardens in South Belfast, which took place this afternoon.It is not known how many people have been injured as a result of the incident and police have said they will provide an update in due course.
