The road was closed following the crash
A road was closed to traffic tonight after a crash involving a police car. Emergency services were called to Utting Avenue East, Norris Green at around 10pm this evening, Thursday November 28. A witness at the scene told the ECHO: ' looks like a write-off. It doesn't look like another car is involved but a nearby car has minor damage.' Pictures taken at the scene show extensive damage has been done to the police car.
There were no major injuries, Merseyside Police said.
