BREAKING: The Met Police has said it's ‘considering’ a new video showing a party at Conservative Campaign Headquarters during the coronavirus pandemic.
The gathering captured in the video took place on December 14 2020, while the country was under Tier 2 Covid restrictions – which banned socialising indoors.
One couple can be seen in the 45-second footage twirling along to Fairytale of New York, until they knock into a table loaded with party food and alcohol. ‘Are you filming this?’ a party-goer off-screen asks, as people around them drink and stand close to one another all in front of a sign calling for social distancing.The first person with a laugh adds: ‘As long as we don’t stream that we’re, like, bending the rules.’
