The boy was on his motorbike when he was shot at by two men, also on a motorbike

Officers were called to the scene of the incident in the Higher Croft area in Eccles on Sunday . Police believe the boy was shot at while riding his motorbike.

Officers are continuing to hunt for the two suspects. After the shooting, a number of roads were taped off in the area. Previously, Det Insp Joanne Johnston, from GMP Salford district, said: "I would like to reassure the local community that we have increased the number of patrol officers deployed to the area and are working at pace to understand the full circumstances surrounding this incident.
