A man wanted on suspicion of a serious stabbing outside a mosque has been arrested in Manchester. Greater Manchester Police says it received intelligence that the suspect had travelled to the city two weeks after carrying out the vicious attack in London.
The force's serious violence and knife crime team tracked his movements before deploying officers to make an arrest at a property on Worthing Street, in Fallowfield. Officers came across two known associates of the suspect before arresting their target as he made his way back to the address.He was arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm with intent and taken into custody.
