BREAKING: A manhunt has been launched after a 'shocking crime' which saw a man stabbed man 'in the stomach' with hypodermic needle
A man was stabbed in the stomach with a syringe and another suffered an injury to his hand caused by the hypodermic needle during an attack.
Officers said the first victim, a man in his 30s, became involved in an altercation with the suspect during which he was stabbed in the stomach with a needle. When the second victim, a man in his 30s, went to intervene he suffered an injury to his hand caused by the needle.Both victims attended hospital and have since been discharged. Detectives described the incident as a 'shocking crime' and have increased reassurance patrols in the area.
Nobody has been arrested at this stage. Enquiries are ongoing and an appeal for information has been launched.
