Skye has been missing for over 12 hours

Police have launched a public appeal following concerns for the welfare of a 15-year-old girl who has not returned to her home in Penrith. Skye Fray, who was last seen in the Penrith branch of Morrisons in Brunswick Road, has been missing for at least 12 hours.

She was said to have been spotted in the store around 12:40pm on Tuesday, November 1. She is described as being 5ft 4in tall, of slim build with dark plaited hair. When last seen she was wearing a cream coloured jacket and grey joggers. Cumbria Constabulary issued an appeal for information early on Wednesday morning, asking anyone who may know of her whereabouts to contact them on 101. The appeal added: "Officers would also like to urge Skye to contact this number if she sees this appeal."
