Officers grabbed the bag he was wearing without knowing if it was a legitimate bomb or not
Officers from Northamptonshire Police have been nominated for the National Police Bravery Awards for their heroic handling of a bomb threat in Northampton last year. Their actions were called "cool, calm, decisive" by the Chief Constable.

Officers immediately moved towards Thanki and threw him to the floor without knowing whether the bomb was real or not.
