POLICE have recovered the bodies of two men who fell into the water at a waterfall in the Highlands.

Emergency services were called to Linn of Tummel, north of Pitlochry, on Wednesday evening after reports that the men, aged 22 and 26, were in the water.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7pm on Wednesday, we received a report of two men, aged 22 and 26 years, in the water at the Linn of Tummel waterfall near Blair Atholl.

“Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, however, there would not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding these deaths.We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories.
