Police and paramedics were called to the scene on Oldham Road last night . Eyewitnesses reported that a stretch of the road was taped off in both directions at around 10pm.
Pictures showed a number of emergency vehicles responding to the incident. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said the woman 'fell from a van'.She was taken to hospital from the scene.
